Only if you're looking for a non pompous and a more informed point of view. If you'll hold on a second I'm not quite done kissing Q's Cup winning ass. - HawkintheD
At this point, I don't care anymore. I am still on the anyone but Regin wagon. |

And that's less believable than Miles and Daphney (sp?) or any of the current or past run of fat guys with hot chicks on various shows? Explain please... - HawkintheD
Don't change the subject. We're not talking about Miles and Daphney, we're talking about a semi-cute girl and an un-funny retard on BBT. |

(A) Daphne wasn't that hot - mildly attractive, yes.
(b). I certainly agree about the fat guts with hot chicks.
I've always liked Woody Allen - he's seeming more and more creepy (and maybe jail-worthy - MAYBE) recently - but my wife never understood how he would wind up with the hot girl in his movies.
She was right. - StLBravesFan
But certainly a reach for a nebbish like Miles. And yes Woody Allen had/has some great movies (speaking of nebbish's). You're making my point for me. Who possibly sees him with Diane Keaton or Janet Margolin.
That's the beauty of writing yourself into the product; or these days having a bunch of writers write a part where the unattractive guy dates the hot girl next door. It's called Hollywood...and fiction, I believe. |

I'd say slightly more than mildly attractive, pretty sure it was the accent, more than anything, that turned so many dudes on about her. |

SLB referenced Frazier and was just using that show to make a point that the relationship on BBT is no more ridiculous than that one or some others on tv today.
Can't figure why you wouldn't buy into it since you don't think she's all that hot anyway.
Did I mention how sad I was Olympic hockey was over.
Edit - Not really all that sad it ended. In spite of the three week hiatus was looking forward to some good games and found that most really weren't very good. Not sure about choosing a Buffalo vs FL game over them though. |

Sorry. Reading and comprehension are a skill. Thought you were piling on. My mistake.
Daphney was reasonably hot for that show though... |

Yes. Two year reprieve until we're subjected to Olympic nonsense again. |

Til summer, right? Winter is in another 4 I believe. I don't think there is anything I watch in the summer Olympics...well maybe synchronized swimming and when the Canucks compete for their various countries in the diving competition. When you see Kesler or the Sedins do it without ice it really is impressive. |

My favorite part of this Olympics was how all the people covering it seemed hell bent on tying a death story angle into seemingly every athlete they were interviewing. |

Hey Tom! Good adds, though I would stipulate the British office. The original. The cast was great and Ricky Gervais was awesome! So was his other series, Extras. - HawkintheD
Yeah I have to see those shows for sure. I really liked his last series on HBO: Life's too short with warwick Davis. Too bad it didn't last that long. Same with flight of the conchords. Can't believe I left off The Simpsons. |

That's a great list. On my list I would add: seinfeld, the office, night court, to a lesser degree maybe scrubs and my name is earl. I'm sure those wouldn't be on other lists. I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot. Maybe perfect strangers with bronson pinchot - tomcat24
There's a couple episodes of Scrubs that are really out of this world for a sitcom. I don't know if anyone ever saw Party Down, but its a great sitcom. Anyone watch True Detective? |

Not bad, but not great.
Best episode: the last two minutes of the last show.
THAT was classic. - StLBravesFan
Definitely one of the few final episodes that delivered. Up there with Mash. I really liked all the secondary characters on Newhart, especilly Larry, Daryl, and Daryl. Speaking of hot wives: Mary frann |

Never saw party down. Heard it is really good, though. Is that on Starz? Is that the one with alexandra Wentworth or is that another starz show? |
