Carol burnett was a great show. Tim conway had to be up there, too. My favorite parts were always him trying to get Harvey korman to laugh. I always liked it when the actors would break character and laugh. Like on SNL, too. There was the infamous debbie downer sketch from a few years ago.

I just saw some clips of that when Mel Brooks was on Conan talking about Sid Caesar, dying laughing. I don't know if you know it but the German General was one of the funniest things I've ever seen

I never knew sid caeser was such a bad-ass. Mel brooks has a lot of great stories about hanging out with him. Too bad it was mostly from drinking
