So the value of Toews would have to be MORE than the value of mackinnon in the evaluation of MacKinnon by Colorado?

and the same goes for the hawks...they would have to feel they were getting a chance to set up a dynasty.

I agree - the deal is fantasyland - Tinkerbell is dying because we aren't going to say "we believe".

But - Nester's deal included O'Reilly and Stastny for Bickell and Pirri (IIRC) - which turns it in a Chicago's favor, as good as Toews is.

I certainly want the US to win - but it's not "life or death" like with the Hawks - I hope for all 4 Blackhawks to play well - and not get injured - and I can enjoy whichever team wins.
