2 points, but why care about facts right? 7 goals, but again, phuck facts. Toews sucks. - rollpards19

In his rookie season. Captain Creampuff gets knocked on his ass at least 5 times a game. Let's see what the difference after the same number of games. At this point Mackinnon has scored 2 less goals. Oh and MacKinnon will probably play all 82 games. Something Johnny boy has never done. - Elbows15
Neither has Crosby, guess he sucks too right? You're possibly the only person in the entire world that thinks Toews is soft. Find me one other person who agrees with you |

Crosby has sucked. I don't need others to agree with me. Backes, Kesler and others KNOW he is soft. Its why they knock him on his ass all the time. |

Yeah, and 5 goals, but (frank) facts! You're much smarter than NHL coaches and GMs anyway man.

GM are never wrong. Right. I would trade him yesterday. |

David Backes has 3 points in his last 13 games against the Hawks. Toews has 4 points in 3 games this season. Backes clearly is dominating Toews |

You think all the links you post are going to get me to like the guy? - Elbows15
Of course not. It's clear you have some petty hatred, they're just to show you how wrong you are. Its very, very, very wrong. A couple more very's. It's literally hard for me to believe you think Toews is soft, who do you think stands in front of the net and goes to the corners on Toews' line. Why does Mike Babcock play him more than any other Canadian player? Is he a bad coach too? |

It was a dive. Knight never touched her. It was incidental contact between their skates. Sketchy? it was terrible. They blew icings. They saved the idiot who blasted the American girl in the face with a cross check with a phantom call. Whatever. They were coached by a guy who played outside the rules his whole career. Rather lose with dignity than win without honor. - Elbows15
Just watched the game. I still can't see a penalty on that last one. I agree about incidental contact. She was skating hard to catch her and when she switched sides it looks like she just lost balance and fell. Tough call. I am glad US didn't score empty-netter on play where linesman blocked Canada D to play puck. I still don't get why checking is a penalty. These are big girls with skill. They can take it. Checking serves a huge purpose |

As far as Toews, the guy is the ultimate leader. A warrior. He isn't tough as in a steroid-abuser who is dirty and cheap and goes to kill people. But he is tough in that he can take it and he keeps battling. He doesn't back down. That is toughness. But it is that battling that has me worried about him and his longevity. He is obviously hurt this year and has put a lot of tough wear on his tires. But I think Mac and ROR are going to be GREAT players for a long time. I think both of them CAN become big parts of Cup winning teams. ROR really is a Toews-lite |

They are out to get the Americans after quick knocked the net off and the Russians scored. Don't expect any calls to go our way after an absolute bush league play and ruling propelled oshie to stardom. I realize that was in the men's competition but to be honest you guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves arguing over womens hockey. |

The Toews-bashing is starting to sound a little like the drivel that is posted by another hater on this board. |

Interesting that Rask is out sick and that Finland chose Lehtonen over Niemi. |

the boys are making the sacrifices.
which is funny, Lepisto playing in the Olympics and playing solid defense, but can't even break the top 7 dmen at chicago and J. Scott plays ahead of him. hmmmm |

I was wondering the exact same thing about Lepistö. But then again, the Hawks aren't the only NHL team he didn't stick with, and it's history now.

What an absurd, sexist comment. These are ice hockey forums and those women were playing ice hockey... |

Concerning the disallowed goal: that's the international rule - whether Quick knocked it off or not - and it didn't look to me like he did it on purpose - may be a bush league rule, but it is the rule.
As far as being ashamed for discussing women's hockey: you either didn't see the game, or you're not a fan of good hockey.
That was good hockey. |

Yep, and every team had a chance to sign him after his time in Chicago and he ended up in Russia. |
