Regin and PBJ are insurance? They must be what is known as substandard insurance. The kind you can only get after too many claims or tickets.

Here is my trade proposal. No way it ever happens but it would be a monster.

To Col. Toews, Bickell, And TT.

To Chi. MacKinnion, ROR or Stastny and a 1st.

Takes care of the 2C spot. and gives you a stud that is 6 years younger. ROR or PS would have to be resigned but I think you could get either cheaper and for shorter term than Toews. Also, clears up cap problems for a few years as Mackinnion is on his ELC.

Better than Richarding around with useless castoffs.

If you feel like winning without honor, fine by me. Wickenheiser could play for the Canucks. Refs handed that game to them on a platter.

Without honor
You're too much. 2 goals in the final 4 minutes. That's called HEART. Officiating is always sketchy in those type of games. Many thought it should have been a penalty shot.

It was a dive. Knight never touched her. It was incidental contact between their skates. Sketchy? it was terrible. They blew icings. They saved the idiot who blasted the American girl in the face with a cross check with a phantom call. Whatever. They were coached by a guy who played outside the rules his whole career. Rather lose with dignity than win without honor.

Tough call for an official to make. Wickenheiser's getaway pegs ain't what they used to be. Don't blame your viewpoint on that or the make up call that i agree was bullssssspoop. Canadians showed heart though to come back in regulation and that set them up for the W. Not their fault the refs are semi-incompetent.

Got the one lucky bounce they needed on the first. Second was a dumb play by vetters. They also missed a blatant trip right before canada entered the zone for the tying goal.

2nd/tying goal was a killer....goalie misplayed the puck badly. Least that's how it looked when i watched it.

Hope the mens' game lives up the hype and promise.

Well, he has almost as many points as Toews right now. He is faster. Bigger. Tougher. younger. Cheaper.
- Elbows15

You're hatred of Toews is phucking pathetic. The most trusted player on team Canada is softer than an 18 year old winger? MacKinnon's rookie season isn't even that close to Toews' rookie season.

Toews is regressing. His last 3 playoffs have been average at best. He has 2 goals in the last 30 games. He isn't any better today than he was 3 years ago.
- Elbows15

Should have won the Hart trophy last year and he's not any better than he was 3 years ago, sure. The best player on the best team in the NHL, the guy who two tournaments in a row has been Team Canada's best forward is worse than Nathan MacKinnon. The player that was just voted by coaches and GMs as the third best player in the (frank)ing world, the player who went right at 6'9" Chara when Crosby wouldn't go near him and won isn't as tough as an 18 year old winger. You're unbelievable

Hmm. might want to go check those facts. MacKinnon at this point has 10 less points in 6 less games and has a better +/-.

Toews PPG .84 MacKinnon PPG .75. That's close? You want to argue Jonathan Toews is regressing then talk about +-? Slippery slope

Best forward? He has 1 point. He has now scored 2 goals in the last 35 games he has played. What a stud.

In his rookie season. Captain Creampuff gets knocked on his ass at least 5 times a game. Let's see what the difference after the same number of games. At this point Mackinnon has scored 2 less goals. Oh and MacKinnon will probably play all 82 games. Something Johnny boy has never done.
