Hi Al....I see a lot of people in general agree with your first sentence....I can't say that I am all too thrilled with Olympic hockey....The players just don't have enough time to jell together in my opinion....I think that there can always be good games, but NHL games are just much funner to watch, and the quality of hockey is better in my opinion...Has anyone watched the KHL?Sm Liiga? Elitserien? These are the 3 best leagues in Europe.....and believe me when I say this, they are not all that great...And people bash an Edmonton vs. Buffalo game...I'll tell you this much, there are more than enough players on Buff and Edm that are better than most Swiss,Austrian,Slovenian,Latvian players....And no tournament whether it Olympic or World Cup or World Championship can compare to the Stanley Cup playoffs....get the NHL outta the Olympics alread

Anytime a Medal game can be decided by an OT period and a shootout...That's enough for me.

But beyond that...As you know some Countries have a club full of old players and Jr hockey players not good enough for the NHL.

Now in a one and done setting they can compete sometimes and once in awhile win...But except for the better teams at times the games have either been boring or lopsided.

I just heard the Russian coach and he didn't call out OV ....He didn't have any answers and said players like OV who score a lot of goals just didn't, but he thought they all played hard.

Yes....Pretty much the same ass backward thinking as in the NHL for reviews.

I think because a satirical blog devolved into some country bashing they wanted to stop. And you said nothing even close to ban-able, if that's a word. Ask Ogi, he knows just where the line is (or should be).
