So, are you watching prepubescent girls figure skating between hockey games?

Well, it is quite the image for a world leader! Fortunately, the leader of Germany doesn't have the same habit!!

The Beav heartily endorses her selection of beverages! And, again, glad she doesn't have the shirtless habit of Vlad.

So even the easier seeding couldn't save Russia. Team Selanne looks good.

Should be a dynamite last couple of rounds here.

The sooner it's over, the better. Bring back the games that matter.

You're a team player, Mike. I was at my brother's house recently and his kids had that on - I think you can be declared brain dead if you watch that for more than ten minutes!

And hey, two of the Hawks oldest Olympians are done, and at least one more will be done by tonight (either Rozy or Kane, and/or the Canadian trio).

Gotcha, my bad for misinterpreting it.
To the Canucks point, and to the Hawks injuries in general, while it's partially lucky, its also not a coincidence in my mind. Torts' teams block every shot they can, that gets guys hurt. If one team blocks a ton of shots, and the other one doesn't its fair to assume the shot blocking team is going to get hurt more. The Hawks playing non-physical also helps a ton, less hitting = less injuries. Its not a surprise Keith and Kane never get hurt, but Toews gets banged up. The Hawks play a game centered around avoiding physical contact more than any team in the NHL, and I think the results in both health and wins speak for themselves.

Agree on Torts, and except for concussions that really can't be prevented from a workout standpoint....The physical conditioning of the Hawks has improved a great deal since Paul Goodman has gotten here.

That can't be all a matter of luck either....fewer pulled muscles and a great record in back to back games as well as with a very congested schedule.

I think Torts is a good coach but him being behind the Canuck bench is like wearing brown shoes with a black tux.

He has basically told the owner there needs to be major changes so we will see if he survives....Having just about the worst GM in the NHL there doesn't help Torts at all.

Just for fun sometime, sit down with your wife and try to get through an hour. I suggest the presence of beer, though...

Now that would be funny, if Rozy were the last man standing!

Indeed...

But with the officiating and only a 5 min OT plus the shootout....Can't say it couldn't happen. Or at least beat the US today.

I've got a seven year old nephew, so I've experienced some of this stuff and know enough to know that I wouldn't want to suffer this.

With that said, Chunk E. Cheese is a scary experience all in its own.
