He's also in the running for biggest douche in the league.
- EKolb13

I still think his role-model Burrows has him beat.

0 g, 5 assists this season, to go with 35 PIMs in 28 games. Those are meathead-bad numbers, and he fights like a little b*tch, if he fights at all.

You provide a good case for Burrows. What a waste of a roster spot.

I can't take it anymore!!!
Toughest player in the league right now?
1--Brian McGratten
2--Everyone's favorite ex-Hawk John Scott
3--Patrick Bordileau

Jonathan Toews. Easy to be tough when you're bigger than everybody. JVR, Gallagher, Shaw, Callahan also receive votes. Standing in front of the net is the toughest thing you can do IMO

It's ok, the rising cap will allow Stan to sign both to max deals.

In all seriousness, I hope Stan agressively pursues #67 this offseason. Though Frolik will probably want to cash in, now that the opportunity to do so is right around the corner.

I haven't really pissed and moaned about Bickell this season. I did all of that before he signed his big ass contract and pulled a Dustin Penner.

I had a feeling it was going to happen that way.

I hear ya, though I wanted to be optimistic that Bickell could be more, he is what he is. Still not the most overpaid player by any stretch, and we'll see how he does after a few weeks of fishing and recovering.

Suppose I was referring to the board in general rather than anyone specific.

You're talking about Kessel right?
I mean the guy who fights with his stick, who clearly speared Burrows before they fought the previous game...

This guy is a douche, no doubt about it. But that doesn't excuse Burrows' history of hair pulling and biting.

Yeah Kessel is a wuss, I'm not defending the guy who wanted to be a lumberjack if he hadn't chosen to play hockey.

Whatever the motivation for their encounter, Burrows tried to fight him with a full face shield, and went back to that hair-pulling sh*t again.

Kessel is scoring this season, and Burrows is doing...what, exactly? I can't imagine you Nucks fans are too pleased with Alexandre's quality of play.

Well you put your finger in a guys mouth... what would you do? I'd bite .
You grow your hair really long and get in a fight... I'd pull it to.

Douche isn't the right word, not sure why people keep saying Burrows is a douche. I think of a douche as a pompous rich kid with a sweater wrapped around his neck who talks down to women and farts in front of people and doesn't care that they have to smell it.

Definitely not pleased with Burrows season, massively overpaid at 4.5m.

I thought it was noble of him to fight with a broken jaw, didn't think that he was being a b1tch by fighting with the chin guard... thought more of him being tough to fight with a broken jaw.

900k per point is definitely steep. And locked up for a few more years. Have fun with that...

As far as noble, meh, whatever floats your boat. Burrows gets a few swings at Phil and a few tugs on his hair without getting much of the business back. Kessel's not going to properly fight if he can help it anyway, the opportunity to punch a shield probably is an opportunity he'd rather pass on.

Brian Bickell 8 goals 2 assists... David Clarkson 4 goals 6 assists...

Burrows brings intagibles, is a great penalty killer... but he's definitely struggling. Playing with that shield isn't helping his confidence, as well as the Sedins being so awful lately.

Marchand struggled earlier in the year too, tough to yap and chirp when you are struggling.

Speaking of TT from Blackhawks Up:

http://blackhawkup.com/20...vainen-take-center-stage/

Quote I found interesting about TT maybe seeing UC ice this year

Which is why the Blackhawks may be looking in Teravainen’s direction this season. Hawks GM Stan Bowman opted to leave Teravainen in Finland to finish out the season and compete in the World Junior Championship tourney instead of bringing him to the AHL Rockford Icehogs to develop, and thus far it looks like it was the right decision.

Teravainen has proven to excel as either a winger or center and has demonstrated an extraordinarily high hockey IQ. What he lacks in grit and physicality at this point in his career he makes up for in creative playmaking. Sound promising?

The Blackhawks organization thinks so, and considering Pirri’s back in the minors and Regin’s presence will likely regulate Handzus to a healthy scratch most games going forward (especially considering how little Zus will have left in the tank after his Olympic tour), the Hawks are in need of a center during the home-stretch to the playoffs. Enter Teravainen. Considering there’s roughly two weeks to ponder bringing the young Fin on to the Hawks roster this season, the possibilities are tantalizing, especially given how easily past Blackhawks from Finland, such as Antti Niemi and Antti Raanta, have assimilated to North America hockey. So the timing isn’t an issue.
