You can cling to those all you want. It's a Stanley Cup or nothing to brag about. Your hollow Northwest division titles may as well be a participation ribbon, that division was a joke. They earned their President's trophy, and poop all over it with that embarrassing home loss in game 7 to the Bruins. Instead of typing Division titles and President's trophies vs. Nothing you should have typed Division titles and President's trophies = Nothing, because that's just the truth of the matter. - BetterCallSaul
Didn't the Leafs recently lose a game 7 to the Bruins?

as an example, your phase could be worded thus in future:

No, I think that is too specific as well. We must embrace people-first language (or table first) such as this.....
"The differently abled table is unstable when able."

Actually, the leaf guy is correct. Bourque was traded to the Av's and played 14 regular season games with them and the playoffs. Then the following year he played 80 games and the playoffs, won the CUp and retired. - woopstash

Yet, your organization celebrates that last time team won a Stanley Cup 50 years ago with a pre-game ceremony on national television when they league was practically the same size as what divisions are now
That would essentially be the same if we were to have a pre-game ceremony commemorating 50th anniversary of a Northwest Division title; no one cares. The only reason you guys have a history of winning the Stanley Cup is because it was the only thing that was award HALF A CENTURY ago. You guys should be embarrassed, not over here trolling about it.
Let's face facts, the Leafs wouldn't even have a conference playoff title if we were comparing apples to apples here between the same era of the Leafs and Canucks. The Leafs haven't been past the 3rd round in the expansion era; the Canucks have been to the SCF 3 times in the same era. We don't have pre-game ceremonies every Saturday night on national television bragging about it. |

So what do you cite as a reason for the Leafs not being able to win it all? There's more than 5 other teams? - woopstash
From '68 until '91, the answer is painfully simple:
Harold Ballard. |

Yes, because those are the guys who pioneered the game, played for the love of the sport, and allowed for the foundation of the league as we know it |

You can throw a bone to those players out of respect, but most Leaf fans I know don't care for those pregame ceremonies.
If we're facing facts, then let's face the one that says both of out teams have failed to capture a championship in over 40 years. At the end of the day, that's all that matters. |

Gotta love Doug Gilmour.
The rest are nobody's.
Clark is Tortos Linden. A nice well above average player who was beloved by the organizations fans. But wasnt a star |
