Truth be told, GM's think in mysterious ways, who knows what they see as "value". Like Meltzer says in his blog, they (GM's & Scouts) don't just look at the numbers or advanced stats...there's more to it than that. Unless you're an HB or HF poster, then all common sense flies out the window.

Yes and no... England suck, so that removes some of the enjoyment. As a guy who spent many summer vacays in Spain I do have a liking for them, which has made the last couple of tournaments easier. Mrs Lums and her family are German-Canadian, so I have no issue with Germany doing well, as long as they don't beat us ((frank)ers!). Beyond that, I just try to enjoy the games a neutral.

Do you watch it at all?

Cut up a buhch of fruit. Toss it in a huge cooler. Dump in a bottle of cocunut rum, a bottle of Vodka etc. Eat
