Would love to see DD get close to 20 goals after the start he had.

yes...haven't heard from Berkshire or Robert Rice in a while.

Probably both busy writing pieces on how Eller sucks. Oh wait...

- stinger67

They're still too busy complaining about Diaz getting the boot instead of Murray.

These fancy stats guys need to realize those said stats are not end all be all. Beaulieu is better than Diaz, and Murray, while he's far from the best at what he's doing, can deal with bigger forwards unlike Diaz/Bouillon.

You can't have 6 offensive Defensemen.

Murray is a good ole' Gauthier-era patch job until Tinordi is ready.

Yeah...they are obviously not packed with offense (like the Habs!!!).

I watched the game yesterday, I have to say, I know it's only one game, but I didn't even notice Christian Thomas out there.

They should have kept Wayne Kristo.

What about QP's hero, LeBlanc?

Diaz is a top pairing guy...now.

With Bieksa, Hamhuis and Tanev injured, YEAH!

Once they're back he'll be their 4th-5th D.

i think points are a better benchmark for him. if he can get to 50 points, that would be pretty awesome given his start and the fact that his line is the offensive threat on the team. well at least that was the case before Ryan White started scoring at a 55-goal pace.

I'm still on the fences, I think Kristo has the best abilities, but he has attitude problems.

Thomas has 17 pts in 27 games, which isn't that bad.

Kristo has 31 in 44games, which is a .07 PPG better.

Kristo is a year older, but in his first year as a Pro while Thomas is in his 2nd season in the AHL.

I know this is a dull answer, but it's still up for grabs IMO.

As for yesterday's game, I didn't catch it, but keep in mind Thomas is a goal scorer. He wouldn't be the first one of those to have a disappearing act.

If Thomas is a goal scorer, he sure didn't look like one when he had his chance in the lineup.

Simply put, he was useless.

I was looking at this, and holy (frank) does Brennan and ever score a poop load of goals, can't believe this guy can't crack an NHL roster with that shot...

He was not used in a scoring role, but I agree that he didn't do much.

Skates like he's in mud and awful defensively...I think the NHL is better without the MA Bergeron's of the world.

Though that does describe Franson fairly well...

He's bigger than MAB though. I think I'd take him before Komisarek.
