It's really shocking how bad he looks, yet he is out there at the end of the game along with the other sniper Martin
- Vukota

JAck never makes sense. EVER! He has no clue on how to use his players. No clue with matchups against the other teams. He rolls the lines and prays it works. No thinking process at all

when that second Power play unit comes out you know it is just waste. I wonder how many goals that line actually scored on the power play?

I swear sometimes it looks like this coach does things just so he'll get fired.
- David_Volek

You can picture Jack thinking what do I have to do to get fired around here.

Love the pic.

Well then they need to clean house and get rid of the whole coaching staff. Still think JAck should have some responsibility here

Nobody is crowing. We know its a minor deal. Those two have been terrible and they are just glad they are gone. You guys got two depth guys at half price for a 4th rd pick in a bad draft. Nobody should be crowing about anything
- Vukota

It was only 1 or 2 comments. Most here seemed to see both sides. Didn't mean to offend.

Hawks have another 4th in this year's draft from the Bolland trade. It seems everyone thinks this year's draft has no depth so I wouldn't be surprised to see them move more picks and older prospects like Pirri by the deadline.

Question: Snow is now trading Vanek from weakness. If he gets a weak return for him is Snow in trouble?

Unfortunately probably not. Wang is clueless and probably doesn't even know who Vanek is

He should already be in trouble. The Isles are going to finish in the bottom 5 this year. They are currently in year 7 of a 5 year rebuild. I'm not sure if Snow can do anything to get in trouble short of assaulting Charles Wang.

It's like taking a 2 minute power play, and making it a 1 minute, 20 second PP. The worst is when the 1st line draws the penalty, Cappy doesn't take a time out because nobody told him to, and the 2nd unit becomes the 1st unit.

Snow only fears temperatures above 32....otherwise, his Wang makes him invinceable...wait...what?

Wang is kind of like a younger, Asian version of Dollar Bill Wirtz I guess....

I look at your lineup and you don't seem that far away. Too bad it looks as if the GM, coach and owner may be the biggest hurdles.

I feel for you. We dealt with that for 20 years with Pulford and Wirtz Sr.

Gillis will probably be available this off season.

I hear he loves to work with Wangs.

We have the pieces coming along to fill out the roster and make them a much more complete team but because he drafted all forwards in the first couple of drafts and then nothing but dmen in a later draft, we're stuck waiting for them to develop. With 2-3 UFA additions and a coach who actually knows how to do something other than sneak candy bar bites during last second timeouts, we could be a legit playoff trouble maker.

Fair analogy. They aren't that far away but horrid goaltending and inexperience on defense has killed them. None of us here like the coaching staff either. They seem to be playing a system that puts pressure on the defense that is young and inexperienced.

Did he really do that? How sad is it that I have to ask if that really happened?

http://nypost.com/2014/02...re-of-the-sochi-olympics/ Sochi off to a great start...

They also just had a plane Hijacking attempt where he attempted to divert the plane to Sochi during opening ceremony. It landed in Istanbul.

Will Wang spend for UFAs. I guess that offer to Vanek shows he will.

Finding a coach may be the key. Bring in a decent coach and UFAs with winning backgrounds. Quennville came in 09 and then letting Havlat walk and signing Hossa that off season may have been the 2 final turning points for the Hawks.

It was either a candy bar or a stick of gum...UIF saw it. We both wondered aloud what it was. They called a timeout, Weight walked up to do the coaching as Jack, slickly I might add, reached in to his inside coat pocket and ate something...

Not my intention at all- as I can ADMIT that my team has made it's share of bad moves over the years. And it would good to see some intelligent thought out resposes from hockey fans (except for little niteislander who appears to just be an angry fan).

Your are a d-bag who comes on here just to try and stir sht up. Go away lil boy... and if you think I am "Little Niteislander" you are mistaken. I think I hear your Mommy calling you

hard to determine so that is a rather vague return but i would say it would be really bad for snow if the impending trade is seem as a landslide win for the team that gets vanek.

Was just told, offers for Vanek "suck" right now and unless someone steps up he will be an isle at 3p
