Santorelli could do what Gags is doing at 5 times cheaper.

Well for Vancouver Edmonton to do any type of deal would need to be a major one. Not selling scraps like Gags. Gags would get Booth and a second .

If you are looking to get Canucks top 4 D or top 3 Forwards then you better to be willing to be offering Yaks or a first or Eberle , otherwise it makes no sense to deal with an in house rival to take players that don't fit on a bottom five team

No deal I guess Oiler fans may over value Gags, but other fans under value him as well. I like Bieska, but I think Van fans over value him. No way he is worth a high first, Yaks or Ebs. The Booth proposal makes no sense for the Oilers.

Gags has 6 goals and 13 assists and is a smaller second line center. Like I said Santorelli could be resigned for a mil a year and was doing a better job than that. Makes no sense to give away a top 4 D man that can score fight. And is a RH shot.

Bieksa is definitely not worth Eberle but Bieksa plus would be.

Both fan bases do overvalue their players but a trade has to make sense too. Why would we want to face a pissed of Bieksa so many times for an undersized center who is an average player?

He has looked allot better recently. The broken jaw has hurt his play this year for sure (Burrows). I think he gets traded at some point before next season, I'm interested in the return. I think it will be better than most would think. Maybe Im wrong, time will tell.

Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting that the illness keeping Kris Letang out of the Penguins lineup is serious, though not life-threatening.
According to Rossi, the Penguins had concerns last week that Letang's season, and possibly his career, could be in jeopardy as a result of the illness, which has not been specified. Coach Dan Bylsma indicated Thursday there would be no update on the blueliner's condition until more facts are known. We wish Letang all the best in his recovery from this mystery ailment.
