Leafs game on Saturday.....

Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is reporting that the illness keeping Kris Letang out of the Penguins lineup is serious, though not life-threatening.
According to Rossi, the Penguins had concerns last week that Letang's season, and possibly his career, could be in jeopardy as a result of the illness, which has not been specified. Coach Dan Bylsma indicated Thursday there would be no update on the blueliner's condition until more facts are known. We wish Letang all the best in his recovery from this mystery ailment.

No but my money's on Epstein-Barr (ie Glandular Fever, Mono). That sh!t stays active in your system for close to a decade and gives you chronic fatigue. It's a death knell for an elite athlete.

Couldn't care less about the Pens but I feel bad for Letang if it is something that serious. Always thought he was a fine player and seems like a decent guy.

Friend tried Zyban (sp?) a few years ago. Said it worked for a bit, but he heard voices telling him to kill his wife and kids while he was taking it

Obviously he stopped taking the zyban.
