If they let Alfy walk... I think Neil can be had.
- Feeling Glucky?

Hey Glucky,

Alfy wanted out of obscurity, play for a team with class and spotlight. Alfy never loved Ottawa it's like an ugly girl who pays you money to sleep with her: you may eventually develop feelings but you'll never truly love her.

Neil loves Ottawa and Ottawa loves Neil. I've seen a Mrs. Neil jersey at a game in Ottawa.

May Ray has more speed and has way more scoring in him.

Let's not get too high on Holland. He's a bottom 6 center.

I want our 2nd rounder back. Actually I want Colborne back before the Carlyling.

Holland is way better than Colbourne, and better offensively than Raymond since his early season hot streak.

Sure they would. They can say their biggest rivals are the Bruins right now, and they are, and ours are the Sens as much as the Habs.

But once that series starts and the games get going, it's going to be nuts and utter chaos from both sides. I think a playoff match up between these two teams is decades in the making for both sides of the respective fan bases.

exactly... Habs fans "don't want to admit" (for some bizarre reason) the history of the franchises.

of course the more recent playoff rivalries are more focused on Boston.. understandable.

but just think back to the conversations that were spinning up last spring with the possibility of a Leaf Habs series... or perhaps a little farther... the series that was gifted to Mr Gretzky by Helmet Hair - Kerry Fraser - should have been Leafs-Habs...

everyone knows it.

Are you kidding? Alfy was a star in a Canadian market. No obscurity there. If he didn't love the team, he wouldn't have stayed for as long as he did.

Ottawa is the ugly red headed step brother with a lil man complex.

I think they are picking up bad habits from all the politicians with meaningless drivel.

- Bigzby

Whatever. (frank) them.

Most of them are nothing but a bunch of weak minded inferiority complex losers who didn't have the balls to remain loyal to their original teams, most likely either the Leafs or Habs.

Mr. Clean is the only solid dude among them.

Do they also drive aggressively while sober, though?

Alcohol lets your inner bumhole(or inner whatever) out more, because it's a depressant.. it gets rid of your inhibitions.

THC has the opposite effect, if anything.

It's odd that somebody would be more aggressive after smoking a joint than when sober.

- Feeling Glucky?

I think the word "aggressive" is being used too vaguely. Their are driving courses that teach you how to be an good aggressive driver as opposed to an aggressive douchebag or stupid driver. Making smart, quick and often aggressive decisions can keep the road safe.

I'd say smoking pot would make drivers either more panicky or oblivious (stupid). Either way .... as Dozzer notes ...a bad idea.

those courses are supposed to teach you how to be good defensive drivers

being an aggressive driver is never good... because as good as you are, you can't predict what the idiots around you will do.

I agree with everything you said except the loyalty thing. If Hamilton gets a team Im jumping ship. You pretty much have too.

Colborne doesn't have the game to ever be a good top6 fwd and Holland has more grit to maybe fit into the bottom 6 one day. Holland > Colborne every day.

Nobody wanted Colborne to succeed more than I did.

I spent the entire summer typing out posts explaining why the Leafs needed to give the guy a chance to flourish - at 6'5", he was an asset the Leafs hadn't had since Sundin.

And then I watched him in all the pre-season games.

I was wrong.

Bang on. Glad to see us looking down on them in the standings, especially after booting them in the face saturday night, like the Santa in A Christmas Story.

I bet it takes another cycle into the leagues basement before we ever have a chance at a top flight centre again. Even then who the (frank) knows.

Aggressive ....as in assertive, bold and energetic. They teach it now in an effort to promote drivers being actively engaged in what they are supposed to be doing. Thinking, planning ahead and being one-step ahead of all situation.

You're thinking of passive-aggressive. That's what your gf is when she's female doging at you and wants attention. Or what you are when you point out my spelling errors!!
