I put the hurt on him this week. If he had Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk healthy, it would probably would have been a lot closer.

He has been a huge bust so far. 8 pts in 36 games. Yes injuries are a factor but he is essentially the leafs version of Burrows. But his true value will come in the playoffs. The leafs got him to be that gritty tough Winger that you need in the playoffs. If he is healthy and plays a key role in the playoffs I think the leafs will be happy with his production. Now if he sucks in the playoffs then all bets are off.

Fair statement. Maybe he is more booth than burrows. But its his playoff impact that will matter the most. I like clarkson as a player. I hate him as a 7 yr 35 mil player but he is a very good 4mil a year player. You need to have those type of grinders that can score to win a series.
