why the hard on for Bernier? I can understand claiming the leafs have two backup goalies before the season started, but then continuing with it, despite Bernier being one of the best in the league? no where to go now I guess

Bernier is 4th in SV% among guys who have started at least 1/2 their teams games...If he is a "backup" what does that make everyone else

That "backup" in Jersey is having a helluva year, 1.87GAA, .926SV%...he's a keeper!

for the record if random leafs fan posts a Clarkson + Gleason for Letang type proposal, I fully expect someone to call him out on it

Letang is having a down year but just look how terrible Burrows and Edler have played

that link shows Bernier tied for 5th in Sv%.....and he has a 2.61 GA on a team that gives up nearly 3 per game

He has no point...next he will argue that Bernier is a backup because he is tied for 27th in shutouts.

I can use the exact same arguement back on you for why he has a higher gaa because of the amount of shots he has. Still your point makes no sense as to why you think he's a back up.

True but if bobby Lou had the same amount of shots he would actually have a higher gaa soooo that means bobby Lou would be worse which as I point out earlier is in my top 5.
