I see it as the exact opposite. Gillis can use the injuries excuse to explain why the team is tanking this year and not do a thing because he "wants to see what this group can do when healthy."

Players that need to go are Edler Booth. Burrows should be moved also given the chance . That would give us 25 mil in cap space with 14 players signed .Kassian could be a cheap re-sign and the should probably go after Santerelli one more year at a mil .there is nothing wrong with having extra cap space in a transition year . There may be a surprise compliance buy out next year that they can scoop up like Crosby .

I just wrote out a huge blurb and erased it. I have many thoughts on the Luongo cap hit and new CBA issues but I'm not gonna bite today. We have hockey again and I have moved on..kind of.
