He would waive. You guys are probably looking at Gorges or Emelin, Gallagher maybe Eller. Habs want McGinn or ROR.
Talks go nowhere. - Champ
ROR isnt being shopped or going anywhere, its already been reported a few weeks ago that Avs and O'Reillys camp have agreed to wait to the end of the season to talk contract extention. |

so hes down to a 5.7m cap hit, there are ways to acquire him. Can a salary be retained again by another team to the max 50% |

Not for awhile. Near the end of their careers, when the Pens will suck again. It's a cycle. |

Instead of Kadri for the pens which is on a higher scale of trade, may be a lower trade for kulemin to the pens. Other than that, pens and chicago wont give up what the leafs would want from their teams as majority of those players they have are better than kadri already. |

I don't see why the Isles couldn't keep the the salary. But they most certainly won't unless you give them your first round pick for the next 20 years.
The reason Buffalo got Moulson was that the Isles wanted to dump salary too. They could have had Vanek for just the conditional #1 and second rounder. But Wang is such a cheap pos. |

Not that I know of. I think it all depends on where they finish. If they get a top 5 pick they will probably keep it. Apparently there is a big drop off in talent after that. So I hope if they get 5-10 pick they let Buffalo have it. Next year is supposed to be really deep and if Snow continues to mismanage this team the Isles will need it. - cawala
Is snow on the hot seat?
I for one hope they give it to Buffalo this year.
If it is say 6th (sorry) Buffalo could use that + other assets to move up in this draft. |

He is a guy I couldn't root for as a member of the Penguins. Seems like someone is looking for site hits and nothing else. - Oneonta Penguin

I don't think he is. He should be though. Wang runs his business's like the Mafia. If you are in the family you have a job for life. Just look at how long it took Wang to fire Milbury.
I really hope that the Isles will finish with a 11 or higher pick that way they have no choice but to give it to Buffalo. |

Blah blah blah, says the guy that cheers for a team that wouldn't even be in Pittsburgh, if the league didn't gift them Crosby. - TheCat29
Do you realize, that right at this moment, Jeff Finger is sitting on a beach somewhere, counting his $14 million and laughing? You helped pay for that. Congrats. |

Seeing what the isles gave up idk why it would take to get vanek...especially without giving up Jurco Tatar and nyquist...are the other prospects that good? Maybe they will take a d prospect like Sproul or Marchenko |

You apparently missed the part where Crosby called him a joke to Dion and told him to make sure he told Kadri. - mw630
the were battling throughout the game and kadri admittingly chirps a lot and Crosby got pissed..the fact that you take that at face value is pathetic and humerus.
Do you understand that is nothing compared to what they say to each other..they do that to get in each others heads..

I thought O'Reilly couldn't be traded this year because of the offer sheet situation, or was that last year? |

You certainly need an education lesson on hockey players..Kadri is far from a joke,he is a talented young centre ,he is aggressive he does have 95 points in 145 games he still going to get better,in other words if you don't have anything intelligent to say...well im sure you can finish the rest of that sentence - Daddichronic

Ummmm.... I didn't say that to solidify that Kadri is a joke. The guy that I was replying to thought someone else here was calling Kardri a joke. I was simply pointing out that he was referencing a joke Crosby made. The fact that you need to get so upset and respond is both pathetic and humorous Leafs fans appear to be a bit touchy today. - mw630
Hey im jost commenting on a comment..people should know what they say and say what they mean..sounds like your the one getting a little choked up over our conversation,im cetainly not..but thanks for caring lol |
