To be honest with you, Vanek would be stupid not to take the Islanders offer...he has already said no to Buffalo and then if he says no to the Islanders he better hope he gets a deal from Minny...What happens if Minnesota says they don't want another big contract? - kear20
We'll see. Minny will have plenty of money to spend |

I took a quick look...he's a +10 and he's cheap...and only makes $650,000...perfect player for Wang...I'm sure Garth is either waiting for Visnovsky to come back or he's looking for a pick too... - kear20
He's a +10 playing soft minutes on a good Bruins team with a strong goaltender. I wouldn't look to far into that.
He'd be a good 3rd pairing defenseman. Blocks shots, plays the body, won't overly impress anyone. |

Good point...McQuaid could also be available per an article from Boston Comcast...probably the same type of player as Bartkowski...Snow would probably make the deal if he could get a #1 or #2 draft pick in the package... |

The cold hard fact at the beginning of the game said it all:
St.Louis- +57 in goal difference...the Islanders a -24...just looking at this stat a good GM would have traded for a couple of better defensemen and a goalie... |

I agree. He is in a very good situation with Boston. |

Someone who plays the body and blocks shots might be a welcomed addition to our defense.. once Visnovsky comes back I think AMAC is traded... |

He has made a couple of real good saves. Would be nice to see Poulin play behind a solid not even great D. Having Vish and Hamonic back would sure help. |

Couple of observations from the game. Carkner and a Mac suck. |

Poulin has done that in a lot of his games. I think the best think for Poulin is to share the games with Nabby. Poulin is probably not ready to just run with it. It's too bad he did not get more games before this year. |
