I haven't. I look at data. It tells me things that I want to know. It's amazing what data can do for you...
- lumlums

Yes, just like in hockey your knowledge of canadian cities is based on data.

so you saw how Vancouver consistently rates as one of the most liveable cities in the world... and how their summers are much better than Edmonton's?
- jribout

It depends on preference. For me, the 30+ degree days in Vancouver are actually more uncomfortable than the negative temps in Edmonton.

Please, just stop trying to tell me what I prefer...

I don't think anyone in Edmonton claims that the sun shines out of their ass, but that link I provided above actually rates it higher than Vancouver's constituent parts.

Yeah... no.

It isn't even close to the top 5 in Canada, let alone the world. Vancouver has crippling World Class City Inferiority Complex.

The majority of rain we get is in the evening/overnight, so you barely see any of it unless you're patrolling the streets at 2 am.

And my personal preference is for the cold over the rain. That is what I prefer, but thank you for telling me otherwise...

- lumlums

I think most people in this world will take cold over rain...

I forgot how objective you were! Silly me, please begin to tell me again how Phaneuf wouldn't make the Vancouver team....

Your loyalty to Reimvens is commendable.
- AdamFrench

It's not loyalty, so much as reality. It would be fun to bash Scrivens I guess, so MLSE looks good for what they did, but it is what it is. I don't mind the move on one level just don't like the way it was handled. But as for Scrivs he'll be getting peppered and probly look pretty mediocre as I told people after the trade was made. It's the worst team in the league. The Leafs were a bad team when Reimer came in and helped, but Edmonton is just a terrible team right now.

Money sense?

Right on. That tells you Vancouver is unaffordable to most? Gee, I wonder what could cause that.

Way to pick one out of the hat that supports your argument and run with it.

Yup, put on a warm jacket and gloves and all is good. I've lived in the rain, and also in the cold, and I know which I prefer... by a long way.
