Laugh all you want, but every single person I have known that has gone to live in Vancouver has eventually moved back to Toronto. All with same message, nice to be there for a while but terrible place to live.

Alternatively, very few come to Toronto from Vancouver and go back.

Sorry, I know it hurts but it's the truth.

Need to make the 4th Bodie-McClement-D'amigo down the stretch. I doubt it happens but Orr needs to retire.

Vancouver has on average double the amount of rainfall per year of London. Edmonton isn't even close.

Next...

Okay so your not as smart as you think you are..... Vancouver get's rain while Edmonton is in a glacier state... I will take the rain over the cold any day..... and when it is actually bearable in Edmonton (the summer months) it is raining twice as much in Edmonton.... Vancouver has one of the best summers in Canada... minimal rain and it does not get too hot because the ocean keeps it cool..... And although they get rain at least people aren't spending an hour a day scraping off their cars

You've lived in Vancouver right? You're well aware of how it is?

I haven't. I look at data. It tells me things that I want to know. It's amazing what data can do for you...

Lived in Vancity for a couple years …loved it. Although the lack of sunlight between Nov-Jan was tough. Gotta say I prefer the big city vibe of the Big Smoke much better.

However big props for producing Granville Island Pale Ale. One of Canada's finest beers.

The majority of rain we get is in the evening/overnight, so you barely see any of it unless you're patrolling the streets at 2 am.

And my personal preference is for the cold over the rain. That is what I prefer, but thank you for telling me otherwise...

Yes, that's why it's consistently in the top 5 most liveable cities in the world.

Yeah... no.

It isn't even close to the top 5 in Canada, let alone the world. Vancouver has crippling World Class City Inferiority Complex.
