Does anyone ever think Eklund is as drunk as some of the people on here(me e5) cuz sometimes I do. I just don't see a deal between LA and MTL.

What's everyone's favourite scotch? I'm looking for some new ones to try, something around $100. Doesn't matter smokey or not, just something new.

Not Scotch, but try some Glenmorangie (Whiskey), it's pretty good.

Glenmorangie is scotch. And yes, they do have some nice selections.

A couple of other nice scotches are Cardhu at about $75, Bowmore 18 at about $120.

I'll assume you've had Lagavulin, but if not... that's the winner.

Oban's 14 yr and Dalwinnie 15 yr very nice also.

Macallan is top notch, but 18 and up get pretty pricey.

100% involving danny Briere. LA loves the former flyers players and he can get something sparked with Carter, Richards, and Williams. Also everyone knows the deadly playoff performance he has

I like Muzzin a lot and Murray is horrid but that's not enough for pacioretty, I don't think
- TheNugeIsHuge

Pacioretty isn't going anywhere

Briere is probably one piece. The others could be one of Markov/Diaz/DD/Eller/Gorges

Brown is probably the Kings big piece (8year 5.8 mill extension starts next year) and maybe a prospect?

I can see Briere coming to the Kings because we all know Briere was great playing with Richards and Carter back in Philly. His best days were with Drury too. Too bad those eras are all over now. Plus the Kings are the Flyers of the West. I find it interesting that Toffoli was sent down to Manchester yesterday. Greene has not been same defenseman he once was. He is getting injured and is in and out of the lineup all the time. Jones is untouchable. We've traded with Montreal before. Remember DD 44 Drewiske. Lately, Kings have been having trouble with LW. Maybe Briere can play LW. Who knows. I can see Frattin going back to Canada. He is useless and a disappointment. So is Lewis, all this guy can do is kill penalties. What I feel is really going to happen is the Kings are going to trade a draft pick+ a roster player for Danny Briere. This is funny too because I wore his game jersey in my first ever ball hockey game. What a coincidence????

do you really think that subban is better than doughty? and if so you think he's the difference between briere and brown better than doughty?

not sure if trolling or bc bud

- TheNugeIsHuge

Remember when you told me I was nuts? That the Oilers were SO MUCH BETTER than Colorado? We had no depth, etc?

How is that going, NIH?

Hmm.. you are the troll. I got banned over your garbage.

Markov is not going anywhere. Keep in mind the trade has to be somewhat similar in salary. Mtl is looking to get bigger. Your looking at King, Stoll, Tiffoli, Clifford, Frattin.

If your Montreal, do you want to lock yourself into an 8 year $70m contract with Subban? Fans want him. But, most hockey insiders believe that Montreal are being pushed to the edge of a cliff and they really do not want to jump.

They must get Subban's status resolved before he becomes an RFA. The Thursday night game against Ottawa is huge. The pack is closing in on them and if they lose to Ottawa they will be down to a cushion of 4 points in terms of their playoff aspirations.
