Well a higher percentage of OT games today are finished in OT so isn't that a good thing?

yeah, I have no problem with games ending in OT. Still, 60% of the games go to the shootout which I think is worse than a tie.

Also couldn't find the stats but I'd be curious to see how many of those games are finished ES in OT. I've seen so much tentative play in OT (as I'm sure there was also some of before the shootout)
