Kadri +15 last year and playing well. -11 this year, and not so much.. - bixll
good game last night
also.. we need to remember.. he is a sophomore who is still on pace for 50 points
if 50 is an off year for him then we should be very happy with that.

Valuable stat. Our +/- leader from last season is a fixture in the pressbox - senstroll
Fraser has been terrible this season. Last year he was solid as a 5/6...this season he should be in the A. |

Year's past most of us said he was playing poorly and overrated. Is it that hard to understand that this year and last year he's been great and not as overrated as he was Mr. Phaneuf hater? - mykokes
he's been good. he has not been great
he only looks great because the rest of the defense is so bloody terrible |

Nah, don't do that, just watch the Rangers game. Should give you an indication he's not a problem. |

50-60 is what should be expected. a player drafted where he was is in that range.
he needs to focus on improving in other areas

I never said he was the problem.
Just making an observation about how +\- is useless when it goes against your argument then quickly becomes relevant when it bolsters your argument.
Not just Dion... Happens all the time.

That game against Minny, I thought he was turning a corner.....I think Cherry needs to kiss him again. |

THe only thing I take from Dion's +/- this season is that its so much better than the guys he plays with, both forwards and d. if he was +15 and Gunnarson was +15 and Kessel was +15...then I wouldn't pay attention to it at all. |

I think he just feels like he's more than a sophomore because we aren't use to developing any draft pics lol |

i think ribeiro numbers arent a stretch. once he puts it all together he will be a very good player for a very long time.
the leafs just need to stick by a kid for once |

I would rather him play good D as well and score a few less points, but that just me. There are 2 sides to the ice surface.. |

Dobs says year four is the year guys break out. Year 2 is typically the worst (we all know the sophmore jinx). I still see the talent and the ability in Kadri, but I don't see him doing the little things he did last season, he went from trying to prove he belongs here, to playing with a little more entitlement he belongs here. That Minny game was the only one I actually saw him trying to prove he was a complete #1 line centre. Hopefully he gets back to playing that way suspensions aside. |

I am not saying move him, just get (frank)in back to help the D. |

I'd settle for smart line changes and moving with the same intensity in the defensive zone as he does in the offensive zone. Oh, and more shots on goal---the second they put him with Kessel he got a case of Bozakitis. "Must feed Phil and jVR the puck, even when I'm in the slot" |

His want for big money soars the taste in the mouth of fans, when his play has declined. |
