The McDonald from NYI idea would give us another dman. You need lots of.dmen to survive in playoffs. I bet his price tag would be increased in a bidding war. The AHL Dahlbeck is our extra extra dman.

Sweden is really going to be interesting tomorrow. I have been reading one of their message boards and A LOT of people have Krugman centering the 4th line. I don't think any of us even mentioned him. I know I didn't. I just thought Hammer and Maybe Oduya (who a lot of them don't mention on the team ). We really might end up with 10 or 11 going to the Olympics. He centered Landeskog during the world championships in 2012 and looked good

I would think the fact that he's Hammer's regular partner and has the experience of being there in 2010 would put Oduya on the team. We shall see in about 12 hours or so.

Is Svedberg back playing in Rockford? I liked what I saw of him the night we were out there, but he got hurt late in that game.

I would think the fact that he's Hammer's regular partner and has the experience of being there in 2010 would put Oduya on the team. We shall see in about 12 hours or so.

I guess when you only have a couple of thousand (at most) real fans, and probably only a hundred (at most) of those who participate in message boards, and maybe 25-30 (at most) of those who've found HB, and maybe only 5-10 (at most) of those who participate regularly....I guess it's probably pretty slim pickings to find a team blogger. Really should have to pass some kind of Hockey IQ test first though.

I'm still surprised there was no outrage over the US leaving Skille off their roster.

I agree. I wouldn't mind just 5 Hawks in the olympics. I don't see them as the favorites, either. Especially going by their predicted lines. They have the goalies to do it, though. Canada just looks too good. Their only question is in goal. I didn't even look to see who the russian goalie would be. It won't be bryz or nabokov, though
