Roughly the same cap hit, and buy out cap hit, but whereas Liles is a PMD on a team that already has Rielly and Gardiner, Gleason is a shutdown guy.

Gleason is injury prone - dump Liles for picks and/or retain some of his salary if need be - is a #3 or 4 dman on a team - you end up bumping down other dmen on your depth chart - take some of the Liles savings and give it to Franson |

Much easier to predict who will not win a cup in 7 years than it is to picking the winning numbers
With the West being so strong - the cup looks to stay there for the short term

Boston and Pittsburgh are both legit contenders. I'd see more of a 4-3 or 5-2 split in favor of the west. |
