Edler, bieksa, hamhuis and garrison all make way less, and in my non biased opinion, are better defensemen.

Yup, and I'm possibly the only (frank)er in the entire building... I'm doing some maintenance on one of our instruments, which requires me to check on it every couple of minutes... hence sitting on my ass looking at it for the 105 seconds between each check

Would a 9mil for 7 years from any of those teams be a surprise? Those teams would be giving up a bunch of quite late firsts. Subban is more than worth that.
