Good game either way.

Fun to watch, I was sweating buckets in the last period there.

I like it better when there is more parity in these tournaments, and the kids are always fun to watch. Just me, from a slight outsider viewpoint, Canada needs to re-evaluate who picks the teams.

Management is lacking, and Sutter is a dinosaur.

He was awesome in the playoffs last year. A little undersized but that kid's got smarts.

For years this tourney was dominated by Canada and the Russians. It's good for hockey to see other countries do well.

The one thing I noticed about Laughton, is he does a lot of the little things right, but I don't see him being more than a 3rd liner.

The foot speed in particular is lacking.

Just me, but cant wait for the Olympics.

These international matches make for some fun hockey. 7 game series let the hate build, but one game to win it all has the intensity.

Hope Giroux makes it and will be good for Lauridsen to get experience.

yes! i cannot wait for the olympics. i just hope guys avoid injury while over there. no team deserves to have its star get wrecked in international competition

I haven't seen much of Laughton, but what I have seen, and what I've read he strikes me as one of those kids who wills themselves to outperform their talent level.

NHL is the most important thing for hockey fans in NA, but it isn't so among the world.

As much as Canada/US would love to believe they own the sport.
