Scott Laughton is having a really strong game. Best player along the boards for either team so far and had a good short handed chance.

Reminds me of a more tame version of Downie.

Nutter, your in the "peg" (Winnipeg), whats up with Enstrom?
Is he just a product of the struggling environment?

Him and Bogosian are having down years. The stats are alright but he hasn't fared too well imo with some of the bigger teams in the West.

I still think he is a good player, but he is also 29. Not really going to develop much more. I'd prefer the Flyers just make a run at Pitkanen instead of giving up assets for Enstrom.

I hope Pitkanen makes a strong comeback, but I wouldn't sign him to more than a one year deal given how bad that injury was.

Thanx for that, I'm not interested in pitkanen, I still think we have to somehow give up to get someone worthwhile. The sooner management comes to tht realization the sooner we can play with more consistency.

The thing with Enstrom, is that he is another guy best suited to a secondary role.

He would be a decent option on say the second pairing, but if we are giving up assets I would rather take a run at a guy like Yandle or Edler if possible.

True, I would love Yandle!
But I see the package being too expensive for him, maybe not quite as much for Enstrom, but I could be wrong.
With G, Couts, Schenn, Laughton, & (groan), Vinnie's contract, our strength would be to move one of them, seemingly.
Obviously G isn't going anywhere, my only concern about Couts is his scoring droughts, he misses open nets when he's down, but again, he's still very young/raw, when he's up, he protects & controls the puck like he's possessed.

Why is Morrissey on the Canadian Junior team, and Morin isn't?

Laughton channeling his inner Flyer. That kind of dumb will fit in perfectly.

Yeah, I don't get home until 9 so I can settle in and watch the game without knowing the score before hand.

When I worked 11-8 I would DVR the game, stop posting on here at 7 and listen to a CD, not radio on the way home.... problem solved.

To each their own but i take morrissey in a heartbeat over Morin. Matt Finn is the guy I think should be there.

Dumba has not impressed me one bit. In fact.. i think team Canada as a whole looks pretty meh.

The US team is like a well oiled machine. Thats one of the fastest team I have seen in a long time.

Of what I have seen, I think the whole division sucks. Sweden and Finland both look day and night more complete then anybody in Canada/USA division. I thought the score in the American/Slovak was extremely flattering for the Americans. Much of the game the Svks dominated
