you could right. and at that number he might think it's worth the grind and risk of further injury. he's had a solid career, a cup and a gold. not much left to play for other than the love of it. and 1.5 million dollars.

I hate it when a guy is down and in the line of fire and they keep playing. I understand if play has gone the other way, but the threat of a puck to the face of a guy in no position to defend himself always freaks me out.

no, i saw it. i just forgot. it looked like a skate might have cut the back of his leg, but i saw he was able to walk down the tunnel, thankfully.

Yeah, that's kinda how I read that post as well.

I wouldn't be so eager to make so many massive changes. I wouldn't trade Voracek, and honestly, if I could get anything of value for Hartnell, I'd try to keep Simmonds.

The Flyers need more of a tweak that a massive rebuild, IMO.

Im not saying i personally would like to see Voracek go but i feel in order to get someone to compliment Giroux he is going to wind up being the main piece of a trade as well as Schenn and Simmonds... I like both Voracek and Simmonds but i just feel that with Simmonds and Hartnell being the same kind of player, Simmonds being the better of the two and McGinn being the same type of player but able to pot as many goals as simmonds, its just stupid they havent brought him up to stay... They need to pull the trigger on something involving Hartnell...
