Exactly. By the Catholic church. To suit their own needs and opinions.
Catholicism is the biggest and longest running 'joke' in the history of man-kind.
I believe in a Higher Power. That Higher Power created this world, me, my kids and all things that I cherish. But that Higher Power never had anything to do with the bible.
The bible is a joke book full of lies and deceit. That's why Catholics dig it so much !

I think it's tough to tell who we should want
No one really knows the extent of influence any of these guys had on past teams
This is gonna sound like blasphemy,
But I think we should've held on to Darcy through this season
There's not a trade he's made recently that hasn't gotten us GREAT return for our assets
I still think we are going to be "sellers"
Not to sound negative, but I think it's very unlikely that Miller or Moulson will wanna stay here no matter who the GM is - jdfitz77
Darcy had 16 years to build a cup winner and although you could say he had limited success over his time as GM, he also was an abject failure, particularly in the later years and most fans were calling for his dismissal, which I agree with. You might be the only that still wants him here. They needed to make the change. And it should have taken place when Pegula bought the team. It's old news now.
Whoever they select for GM has a monumental task in re-building the franchise and his first order is to move Miller. I agree with you that we will be sellers but I would like to keep Moulson. We are weak on the wings and with the cap space, hopefully he'll be convinced to stay.

I wish Moulson would convince JT to come to Buffalo !!
In all seriousness I believe that the only years of success during Darcy's tenure was pure luck. He pulled Briere out of his hat and was forced to pull the trigger on the Drury deal. The league changed after the lockout and things clicked for a few years until he made the epic fail move of the century when he screwed up Briere/Drury/Vanek contracts.
Other than that it's been years of mediocrity or suck. |

He's got slow feet but he's a pure goal scorer. Someone is going to overpay for him big time. If we need help to reach the cap the new GM could do a lot worse than signing him. |

Tavares would look great on any team. And I agree with what you are saying about Darcy. Time to move on and a new era of Sabres hockey.

if the sabres move him at the deadline, and the islanders move vanek, I bet the return we get will not be far from what the islanders get |

I like 20 and snow in the Winter. I can't stand this rainy, crappy, whitish-brown looking sludge outside. |

He's going to get $5M on the open market. 6 years seems long though.
Holmgren would do it !!

I don't see anything here but It better be a sweet version of "Cold Rain & Snow". Preferably something from about '78.
