We finally got a break from the refs. - LeafMan
It's a good thing because, once again, there was some real curious calls out there, mostly not in the Leafs favor. |

Okay I am glad we won even thought Reimer let in one of the pooptiest goals of the season.....
Better???? - jribout
Much. Now, maybe if our team felt like battling a bit in the third instead of just sitting on their thumbs and singing Kumbaya, we wouldnt have had to give Phoenix a freebee point.
But I don't see the point in stressing on that tonight. Doesn't really affect us if they get a point or not. |

The market for goalies is brutal. Everyone has one.
Hell, even Philly has a goalie. |

Bernier has been dealing with an "ailment" per Carlyle. That's why he elected to go with Reimer tonight.

Sweet but how many years? and then what does Bernier ask for? - Drapz I don't care as long as they play well.... We have Bernier locked up for two more years so Reimer cannot hold us prisoner...... If one of them runs away with the job then we may have to pay them.....

They've got to start auditioning these guys 3-4 stretches at a time. Going back and forth hurts both of them. Let them get comfortable in the role, not walking on eggshells all the time. |

Several teams have more than one guy, though. We wouldn't be the only ones selling. |

Agreed...Been saying that for weeks.....Give the net to Reimer now for the next 3-5 games...hate the back and forth thing...Imo it hurts both... |

I don't have a problem with it. Some on here are convinced that Bernier already as the #1 title. I'm not convinced either way yet. I see somethings that Riemer does that is better than Bernier and vice versa. Clearly Bernier has the better rebound control and flops around less. I also don't have a problem with the "you win you're in". Nothing wrong with healthy competition. |
