getting the lightning feed so I don't know why, but I saw one shift with regin in strome's spot and was pissed off. Equipment issue or did cappy bench the kid for a shift?
- Isles_since_6

I did consciously think at one point that Regin was out there a little more than normal. Didn't realize he was on Stromes line maybe a late change?

Good man. Game not over yet, but Nilsson and Poulin must be thinking now you guys start to play D.

Strome is in Cappys dog house. His battle level is not up to par with the team

Theyre a different team with Nabakov in net the last couple games. Whatever works.

Nabby would probably not put up with lousy D and would not be shy in saying so. The Isles win tonight and Cappy is off the hot seat.

He made one mildly bad play that couldve led to a goal against but other than that hes been pretty good. He will be scratched next game

No doubt, Cizikas is back next game and Regin is too good of a vet presence to bench consistently.

just so you all know, the tampa broadcast crew has been praising amac, and saying our defense has been playing some rock solid hockey. I think their crew may have smoked up before the game.

I love it. Perfect time for Snow to trade him.

I have no idea but I highly suggest making a trade with Tampa and giving them AMac before they leave tonight

I do notice one thing about our defense tonight - better gaps between them and opposing forwards in the neutral zone, we're not backing off quite as far. Once they're in our zone, it's all going to sh!t though and we revert to passive box hockey.

I think Amac has been paying these broadcasters off.

KO mentioned the gaps. No idea why it took so long they had to wait until the season went over the cliff? It never sunk in to pay more attention to D especially with the young goalies.

Isles missed their chance for trading for Bishop.
- ses111

Tampa got him for cory coancher (who went undrafted, and is a 3rd liner), and a 4th round pick. They got a top end goalie for NOTHING! Can't tell me we couldn't have made a similar offer or better. Great job garth you retard

No question the Isles were asleep on that one. It's one thing not to be able to sign the top FA's. These are trades the Isles could have made to really help the team.

Isles had better win this game. They are in essence playing an AHL team with some NHL regulars on it. Tampa has EIGHT rookies in their lineup.

No wonder the D looks good. I cannot believe Grabner passed the puck back into his own zone on the PK.

When are they ever awake? Garth looks like he's either drunk or (frank)ed up on xanax
