He just gets beat way to much for me. And then a lot of times will have to take an I can't skate penalty. It's just frustrating. - iTOLDu
He actually seems to be very good with his sticks and takes the puck away a lot. |

Seriously...... Fraser is by far the worst defenseman on the team.
He NEEDS TO GO!!!! - faceto27
Sir I'm going to have to ask you not to use that tone with me. |

I know, I'm just poking the bear.
I do think that there are 6 Dmen better than both Ranger and Fraser when Phaneuf is in the lineup, yet one of them is always in. Randy doesn't seem to agree with me though - TheThrill
actually i dont agree... rielly is brutal defensively.. gardiner barely capable.
franson has given the puck away as many times as ranger and nobody mentions this.
gunnarsson has been the worst d-man outside of fraser easily this year. |

Well to answer your previous question, no I don't think we're watching the same games. I agree with you that he does stay strong on the puck but umm I'm sure you saw that awesome pinch last night. |

I thought Gardiner paired with Rielly looked amazing last night, and disproved your theory that they would be a nightmare defensively....especially how quickly they got the puck out of the zone and used their speed, sticks and posiitoning (especially Gardiner) to break up plays. I have no issue with Ranger at all, but I don't think Gardiner or Rielly are the issue with Ranger.
But right now I prefer Ranger over Fraser and Gunnarson. |

Part of me wishes we had a longer stretch to evaluate the Leafs without Dion - senstroll
They just step up their game last night because they felt they had to compensate for the loss of Phaneuf. |

Thank you. Many good goal scorers shoot five hole. But we will ignore that because it went in on Bernier and someone has to take the blame, why it's not Ranger people aren't mad at there I have no idea. Slowest guy on the ice making that pinch...bad decision. - iTOLDu
or smith for not staying with his centre when ranger took out his winger.....

I support em all. To be honest I think this is all on Randy. He needs to find the combos that work. I realize he can't play the game for them but he needs to put them in positions and systems that are successful. |

I do like how he can drop the gloves. What think you of going after Greener out of LA in FA? I'd like to have him, he's a mean player. |
