I would have to think it will be 10 games. Taking a guy down and hitting him while defenseless is a dirty and has to have the book thrown at him. Then again it is his first suspension for a fighter so that may be in his favor.

Was really surprised it wasn't 5 as well. Not sure how you can call that penalty and deem it a minor. You called the penalty, you clearly saw it, it was a mother(frank)ing knee to his head.

Both Neal and Thornton deserve 10+ games IMO. Both bush league plays.

Watched the hits this morning...

Orpik's hit on Erisson was cheap and dangerous, the out come could have been far worse.

Neal should get 5 games for his cheap shot on Marchand, the intent to injure was very clear.

Thornton, this is a little fuzzier. I did not see attempt to injure, but wondered what happened to Orpik? I think that Thornton's elbow may have hit him in the face when throwing the punch. I don't think it was intentional, but having a player leave the ice on a stretcher made it all look worse than I think it really was. My opinion, would not give Thornton more than three games.

Neal should get as many games as Thornton with that knee...Orpik should have dropped the gloves; I can see why he didn't as Thornton is a 4th liner so I wish Lucic would have gone after him...Thornton saw what was 2 hits on his team mates and decided to do something about it....he will get a few games and other fans will boo hoo about the Bruins again...
