Leave it to leaf fans to try and make any discussion about them, pathetic.
I'm sorry but Montreals biggest rival is the Bruins
The Sens biggest rival is Montreal
The Leafs are irrelevant to both clubs, maybe you should go play in the buffalo thread they are as starved for attention as you are. - 2gals1dane
C'mon, dude. The Leafs are far from irrelevant to Montreal.
The Habs & Leafs are the Yankees & Red Sox, or the Celtics & Lakers, of hockey. |

TSN panel is vastly over rated. The TSN SportCenter writing has become a joke.
There will be some movement but there are only a couple guys on TSN that would be worth it for Sportsnet to nab. Dreger is not one of them.... - Iggysbff
it's better now that O'Toole and Onrait are gone. they were just unbearable. |

I hope the same thing happens to the 5 à 7 guys on RDS...although I don't think they'll find another job if they lose this one. |

That would be like not taking Chelios on the USA team back in the day because of his history of trouble on and off the ice. Smart managers judge talent by where it is at, not what it's been through to get where it is today.
When you think about it though, teams that have many players playing in the Olympics may be at a disadvantage down the road. I would be more than happy to keep all our players at home during the Olympics, resting and healing and focusing on winning the cup.. |

Why does agreeing that the Sens are overrated make me a hater?
Hate implies caring, and literally no one outside of Ottawa cares about the Senators. You're an irrelevant team, both culturally and statistically. - oniremosewa

I would bet money that, over the last 20 years, our rivalry with MTL is greater than the TOR-MTL one.

Never said he shouldn't go, he's a dynamic player. Just responded to the post that suggested he's never done anything wrong |

At the time Claude Julien was hired by the Habs as coach, he was an Edmonton Oilers employee. The Habs sent the Oilers a draft pick as compensation. |

maybe once but not at the moment and sure it may all change when they meet in the playoffs sometime soon.
But right now their games are boring and lacking of an emotional tie to it that games with the Bruins have. |

I would argue the Media knows how to get us talking.
If we simply ignored their crap by not giving it the time of day (thought) it would only exist in the form of said ignored tweet.
Take Miley Cyrus for example. People think she is an idiot and 'poisoning' the minds of our youth. If we simply ignored her she would go away. Our thoughts as a collective group create that which 'sells'. |

I'm in sales. And the one way to close a deal that always works is to create the idea that supply is limited and there is others involved (high demand).
GMs play on this through the media. When I watched the behind the scenes trade deadline day stuff they all had TSN on the television. You think maybe the other GMs weren't sending out messages to try to pump value?
I think now that there is a transition to Rogers, that we will see their product improve. All the things that make TSN great will shift to Rogers. IMO. |

Dude, one publication picked the Sens to be a cup contender. I don't know one Sens fan who thought they were a legitimate playoff team.
Most Sens fans thought they'd finish 2nd or 3rd in the division.
Right now the Sens are 6-0-1 against the Atlantic and 1-7-2 vs the West. Some of the Western teams they've played so far are Ducks x2, Sharks x2, Minny, LA, Phoenix, Chicago. So of their games against the West, 7 of them were against cup contenders.
The Sens are not a great team by any stretch, but in the crappy East, they should still make the playoffs no problem. - Charliebox
There were plenty of them on here before the season started. |
