If Grabovski doesn't get bought out, we don't get Bolland. Period. Bolland is a more valuable player, both for the role and for the money.

Like i said, it's just bizarre. He was a poor fit here. He was overpaid and his final season was an absolute disaster. At best, he was an expensive stop-gap.

Please, Kessel never faced top opposition (well, on the odd occasion) and Grabos line did most of the heavy lifting.

grabo's line went VS opposition top lines, that doesnt mean its the leafs top line, it just meant the coach felt that line was able to contain a solid 2 way game and still put up points, where kessels line would be vs other teams lines that were a better 2 way line.

I've said that before and I stand by it. You get a younger player who had a nearly identical upside as a Leaf.

A 50ish point Grabovski was the best you could hope for from Grabovski going forward as a Leaf. The absolute best.

Sorry, but I'll roll the dice on Bozak for $1.3 mil less. At least Bozak knows how to play defense.
