Bozak was playing on the top line. Does that make him a legit #1? No. Does that blow a giant hole in your lineup to lose him? Yes.

And i said two of our top three centers. Bolland has been gone for 3 games now. Bozak is comimg on something like 10.

It's hard to implement a system when you lose centermen like that. But if you want proof of how Carlyle's coaching does make a difference, look to the one place it's most likely to impact: special teams.

At the money he making and the term he was signed for, he was a terrible fit here.

He is playing with something to prove now (and trying to get his salary back up in a contract year). He'll get his raise, then promptly go back to being a poor value for whomever is foolish enough to give him 5+ again.
