My point was he's not exactly playing with a couple of stud wingers. Either way, good for him; I'm glad he's producing (except if they ever play the Leafs in the playoffs).

Well it wasnt a good clean hit...still made head contact..so it was a penalty.
I believe 2 games as well.....that simply was a cheap shot on Backstrom.

yeah i do, i guess i just dont like having 4 mins of puck control in the oppositions offensive zone, and 45 mins in our zone with 11 mins in the neutral zone.

clarkson is just so valuable in this system, he gets to use so many of his positives, u know, standing infront of the net, grinding the puck in deep...for the 7 seconds per shift his line has the puck in deep *(and yes, its our best line at keeping it deep). he cant use any of his strengths.

this type of hockey is outrageous.

40 shots vs us, and we have as many shots with 10 mins left in the game as we should have per period.

if we didnt have two goalies standing on their head, and i literally mean standing on their heads, we would be right with Phili right now.

i dont mind the D first strategy, but games like last night reminded me of a 90's NJ team.

What does him producing in Washington matter to the Leafs? It doesn't. Unless we face them in the playoffs and he becomes the difference maker between winning and losing - I shed no tears for his departure. Glad he's fitting in well in the Caps system (2nd favorite team BTW).
