The hearing shouldn't be about the backstrom hit, There is precedence when it comes to goalies getting hit and the players not getting suspended. Gionta vs Reimer, Lucic vs Miller. Goalie get run over all the time with no hearings for the players.

The hearing should be about the hit on Granlund because that dude ducked and Kadris forearms went hit his head.

In review, it looks like Kadri knew he was going to hit him - but there was little to no time nor space to move out of the way. He was going to the net, can't blame him for that.

Some of these comments are a little ridiculous especially coming from fans of teams that once had Cooke in the lineup . Backstrom hit was dirty and suspension worthy. Granlund hit was perfectly clean and Kadri needs to play like that more often
