I don't like the pop, hip pop or rap crap, throw in the massive autotune and it does not appeal to me.

But I expect people to say the same thing to what I listen to but at least the vocals of the classic rock stuff is pure raw talent.

Its funny how last game Kadri gets hit in the head and its not even a penalty. In the Vancouver game there were 2 hits from behind on the leafs in one shift and no penalties. These refs need to be removed if the game is too quick for them.

Considering its already been anounced that there will be no suspension for the Granlund hit and that his hearing for the Backstrom elbow is by telephone which means max 5 games

I was thinking something closer to 3-4 games, but I just saw the video posted and didn't watch the game. Reading the blog, leaves me to believe that if he gets suspended for less than 5 games, this kid is going to become a new target for goons and for hitters, possible for the rest of the season.
- PtotheY

...so you are making statements and arguments about a game you didn't see.

Leafs actually play well in this scenario where teams try and get rough against them. Unless it's the "let them play" (read: "let them do anything") reffing like Saturday.

He was clocked by a high hit to the jaw/head by Boychuk Saturday night, btw, no penalty on the play.

Lets draw a line in the sand. If you think Kadri deserves more than a game total for any and all of the events that took place lace night, stand over there with:

We have two games against Buffalo this weekend, we'll win both even if no center is in the lineup.

Scoring one goal a game is going to make it very difficult, add in a new coach to impress, could be a disaster for the Leafs. Missing your top three centres is very hard to keep lines going.

Backstrom is one of the softest players in the league. He laid there like he was knocked out, which he clearly wasn't. Guy is always "injured" with stuff other goalies play through. This is all nonsense that is magnified in a hockey-insane market.

kadris hit on granlund was textbook perfection.
shoulder into his body, and hard.
ridiculous that they even mention that the 'punishment fit the crime on the ice', giving a major penalty to a top player for a perfectly clean hit had a big effect on the outcome of the game.

with that said, kadri shouldn't have even been still in the game to make the nice hit on granlund because the backstrom hit should have been a major.

- Barx

Yup, spot on. You have the puck on the boards you don't stand parallel to the glass because you know someone's going to put a body on you. You have to be shoulder out.

That hit gave me a flashback - University rec league and I caught a guy with a surprise hard shoulder to the chest while he was standing parallel to the glass. I assumed he'd turn his shoulder like most guys but he didn't. He punctured a lung - actually really scary poop. Next time I saw him he said good hit and that he was an idiot for standing flat on the boards.

If Kadri gets a game ....lets call up Devane for the Sabres game.

Kadri leaned into the hit with the elbow, most goalies exaggerate when they are hit, he did leave the game so he must of felt light headed a bit later.

Backstrom has left two, if not three games already in 7 outings this season. Kadri was looking at the puck and made a gut reaction to contact. He put his arms out, which every player does instinctually.
