I miss Carbonneau. Wasn't perfect but he was the anti-thesis of that. - Not_Yan
I was just saying to a friend that I'd bring Carbo back. This roster is well suited to his style of coaching. |

Do you often name furniture? - oniremosewa
Not generally, no. Though I did have a big old oak desk at one of the firms I worked at early on. I had a name for it. But I'd rather leave it at that. |

not sure if PK's second-period injury factors into his ice time last night but whether it does or it doesn't, his use falls in line with how the Canadiens are approaching their young defencemen in general. there is absolutely zero tolerance for any kind of youth-related hiccups on defence. this should have been a great opportunity for the Canadiens to hand the reigns to Subban while breaking in Tinordi and Beaulieu. instead, we have Subban slipping down the depth chart and the 2 kids are not part of the team's short-term plans. |

There's only one kind of employee that gets the big oak desk:

Hard to believe he hasn't gotten picked up anywhere else. Gotta think he'd be better than Dallas Eakins |

Look man, if you know of a better way to get Frankie Bouillon the 30 minutes per game he needs, we're all ears. |

if their use of Subban is any indication of their valuation of his services, those negotiations MB intends to initiate won't go very far. |

The team was awful as a whole.
If anything, like Jacques Martin, he had this team overachieve in a major way.
Just like Maclean did with the Sens last season. |

well the problem is
A) Prust is injured
B) Moen is injured (and complain all you want about him, but as a 4th liner whose job is not to (frank) up, he's fine)
C) Ryan White is officially useless
so when you combine that 4th line with the bottom D pairing... yikes. although why they are out there together is a bit of a mystery. |
