the ducks have 3 nhl caliber goalies plus two solid prospects.
they are possibly the last team who should be worried about miller and his sideshow |

I do not think Poile is stupid enough to sell the farm for Miller. What a dumb rumor.
Miller will go to a team that is ready to win now. That is not the Nashville Predators. - nikoli1206

True...however, I do not think even Poile could somehow muster having two goalies on the roster that make 6+ million. - nikoli1206
the only reason it would happen is because pekka is out for the season and for some reason they think they are a contender. Miller is only signed through the rest of this year |

If he definitely signs an extension it likely costs you more than that. |

Hmm avs and rags is a tough one. Rags have no cap space at all so possibly a salary dump kind of deal where it is a player for a prospect like barrie.
Avs need d the most but its also possible Roy wants to tweak his forward group a bit more. Also its been known AV wants to reshape the team more in his image. If the avs plan on keeping RoR then possibly it involves Mitchell, mcginn or possibly PA (who has been with the rags before.)
Would assume Callahan is a no from rags and doubt avs want richards or nash. Possibly hagelin, pyatt or a dman.
Really have no idea though, thats nuts. |

Agree, which is ANOTHER reason this rumor makes no sense. Besides, Edmonton is a weird place. Where else can you suck this bad for four years and still sell the building out. If people are going to show up anyway, why waste assets on a goalie who'll be gone by the end of the year? - duxcup07
Which is why Hiller is going to be traded and the cost wont be anywhere near what you think.
Miller is going to be a Duck wither later this year or in the offseason. |

Bryz will be back very soon IMO.
Its pretty clear now that he wasn't the problem in Philly! - Byfuglien Ate Me
He was one of them. Mason doesn't have the wins because the offense dried up, but his stats otherwise are significantly better than Bryz's.
Take a look. It's amazing what Mason has done since going to the Flyers. He hasn't been bad. He hasn't even been average.
Aside from one outing, he's been very good.

Listening to 690 Montreal. There is a controversy smoldering around PK Subban. Therrien and the front office are really unhappy with some of his play in the Colorado game.
I think Subban is a player that would fit perfectly in Ottawa. But the Flyers would likely put together a monster package.
Reading between the lines, part of the Subban problem is he does not play a team game. If I am Ottawa I would include Spezza in trying to put together a package for Subban. Only Karlsson would be off limits. |

If RoR and Tyson Barrie are in play then if a bit more gets added maybe it could be something substantial like Nash coming the other way. He's been fairly tame this season and has been out with concussion issues. |

If I am the AVs GM I rather have RoR who is younger hitting his prime, than an older long contract of a concussed prone player. A Stepan Girardi for ROR may happen. |
