No score on the pp but some decent chances generated. Still looks night and day from last year to me where numerous pp.'s generated nothing and half the time was spent chasing the puck. |

Off the mark? What is Foley talking about? Keith hit him square in the shin pads; just like he's supposed to. - HawkintheD

This is the crap I do not get with Q, and it has nothing to do with Pirri, but WTF is with this matchup crap. Every line you have is a matchup advantage.
Ridiculous. |

Nothing going so far, but gotta say, Calgary has "shots" on goal so far but Hawks have actually threatened. Put one in on this rook and I bet the spillway opens. |

That may have been the least impressive, most uninspiring 18 shot period in years. |

Lots of shots being mailed in from across the state line. Not very many second chances. |

Harry Carry, in heaven, just looked over to a guy at the bar and said, was I really that bad? As he watched the Hawks game tonight.... |

Need to keep getting shots on him AND CROWD HIM, which they didn't do in the first. |

Except...he would let the rebound bounce loose and get buried in Minsk nanosecond.

Any adjectives used by Foley & Bozo should be ignored. Everything is great, real good or "quick little." |

Sure are talkin' up that first period performance by Berra. Hawks had a nice first 4-5 min, but after that not much.
Berra likely faced more pressure in pregame warmups. |

Foley's a legend, but he's becoming a caricature of himself. He wonders WHY Berra starts tonight ! Why the PHUCK NOT PAT ?
I'll always like him, but he's drunk on something...either his iconic status or the liquids. And he's a good ole boy now...so we're probably stuck with him for some time to come.
Could be worse. We could have Mason Raymond's stepdad....

He does seem very composed for his first NHL game, though. |

I used to complain about Foley and Edzo until I watched some games around the league... Not sure there is a pair around the league that I would take instead. |

I wouldn't give 2 cents for any Eastern team except Pittsburgh and Boston.
The othe 14 are at best mediocre - fighting for a wild card spot in the West. |
