always honest, I am a fan and not a fanatic. love hockey, wish I could have played growing up. but since moving to Canada and playing as an adult it is an even bigger passion. I love to talk hockey but the homerism and bias cloud good conversation. I don't tell people or their teams suck because I don't know them personaly. But if you played against me and put me in the hospital over a dirty hit then I would tell you flat out you a piece of poope. Other than that, enjoy the season.

As with all things sabres, it all goes back to Darcy. We don't need kaleta and Scott if he actually makes an attempt to get grown men to put on his roster. But because he doesn't, he gets ONE guy to play every 8th shift to handle the ugly stuff. It's not lIke the team is a quiet skilled team like the old red wings teams.

That's the thing ... The Sabres need skilled guys who are also tough. They went with tough guys who aren't skilled instead.

It's a flawed and out-dated model which Regier is responsible for, and nobody has paid the price for it other than Ruff, who was playing the hand he was dealt.

Pegula and his minions (Sawyer, Black, Benson) are running this franchise into the ground.

As for the constant lie about "Scott going after Kessel", what, do you also get your news from Fox News? I must not have seen the Toronto video -- I saw Kessel take numerous whacks at Scott with his stick. Scott never threw a punch at Kessel. Kessel got a 5 game suspension. Scott didn't get any suspension.
Comparing that to Emery's assault and battery of the other goalie is completely off.

They probably let Kaletta go, because they where afraid of the beatings that where about to occur, once Orr, MacLaren, Fraser and Clarkson gets to town. John Scott is about to get himself retired, once the back to back's occur, in a couple of weeks. We were hoping for Kaletta to be there, so we could see Orr rag doll him again.
