And Laughton's night is done, he comes out of the box and gets in a fight that had to be stopped since he didn't let the other guy get a punch in at all.
Shortly after another fight happens, these teams meet again tomorrow......That could be good. - ob18
2nd time Stolarz has been pulled in about a week... Sandwiched in with a s shutout.
1st time? Okay sure you're trying to send a message. 2nd time? Let him finish it.
With the way he's played most of the season, the trigger is getting pulled way to quickly (should state i haven't seen the highlights so maybe he allowed some stoppable goals but still). |

Oh, my gosh -- Travis Hamonic played 30:21 in that game, and Andrew MacDonald came in at 27:54 -- WOW.

Watched both games wasn't much that he really could have done on most of them. |

I kept thinking Alain Vigneault instead of Avalanche. That confused me much more than it should've |

i'm going to stick w/ COL from now on
it seems like all 4 of our teams need a youth/energy infusion. the flyers have some of that, of course, but other areas, like D seem ossified. the eagles seem like they may have the best prospects to make a run, but only if they get a QB in the draft. the Phils need a roto rooter in mgmt and the sixers...i wish them the best, but i''m not really a fan. |

Ok. Let's make this easy. If you post attacking another poster you're gone for three months. Last warning. (Your first warning is the code of conduct. You might want to read it, especially the part where it says that it isn't against the code to disagree with you.) What does this mean? Express your opinion on hockey without getting personal.
Isn't that fun? If things keep going the way they have tonight, the Flyers board will be limited to three posters. |

Hi!
I'm actually the Rangers' mod, but this was on the silly side of ridiculous tonight.
How's the hockey? Are you still on a post-Maccabi high? |

Here's a question. Do you feel that Briere, as a Flyer, paid attention to detail at both ends of the ice? - Flyers_01
No, he was horrible in his own end, and he took way too many penalties, and it was annoying as poop...and when he wasn't scoring goals, the negatives were all you really noticed. |

3 full timers I assume. What about us part-timers who love the team but don't take this board so serious? We get to stay, right? |

Safe to say the holes left by Zadarov and Maatta are hurting pretty badly right now. |

Jimmy Lodge, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Jordan Subban went to other teams after he was picked by the Flyers.
Instead of a potential second line scorer or second pair offensive defenseman they used a 3rd round pick on Zac Rinaldo, 2.0 |

The thing is, Ghoulbourne could easily make the NHL. He's similar to Rinaldo, but that's his absolute ceiling. Klotz couldn;t even approach skating at a NHL level and had zero skills to go along with it. He wasn't even a very good fighter.
Ghoulbourne isn't as bad a pick as Klotz, but he's not a good pick. Obviously we'll root for him, but it's a bad value pick. |

i can't understand picks on guys like klotz. there have to be literally dozens if not scores of players with more potential. i remember thinking at the time, WTFF? and i agree on the value for the round. makes zero sense. |

It's reaching for a perceived need, rather than going with the best available player. |
