If Miller really rejected an offer, I'd be so damn pissed. Apparently experts like Pierre LeBrun say that EDM is on Miller's no trade list... So the rumor is probably real. Edmonton is closer to the playoffs than we are, they're closer to the west where he wants to be, and he doesn't necessarily have to re-sign there. It'd cost us a lot more, obviously, if he wasn't planning on resigning, but I'm sure we could throw in their favorite person ever in Stafford along with a 2nd to make it work. I'd much rather overpay a bit than not have the deal happen whatsoever.

Not so sure though. Yak isn't playing. They need D and a goalie. The first would be based on resigning Miller. They get a D that can eat a ton of minutes and a true legit starting goalie. Gotta pay up to get what you want especially with Darcy

It all revolves around how much they value Ehrhoff. I personally think he'd be their #1, and would be a solid top pairing partner with Justin Schultz, but if they overvalue their own guys, they could see him as less than what he should be.

I love how people think Grigorenko is awful. He is not that bad he just gets screwed thanks to our awful coaching
