if so many of you don't care about the Flyers or what was written why take the time to post something? I guess you must have some really sad lives to waste your time and energy on the lowly Flyers.

They should have fired him at the end of last season, but didn't. Three games in and it was clear the team didn't care about their coach, hot Lava's time was over. So they fired him 3 games into this season, better now vs waiting another x number of games.

Whether hiring the Chief was the right move only time will tell. You never know there is a lot of time to turn this around and that is a great reason to have fired Lava 3 games in. If they they tank and miss the playoffs all you trolls will be right, but if they make the playoffs Homer will look like he made the right call.

So now go back to your dull and boring lives.

And then comments (93 so far, I'm sure it will be more) from fans of Boston, Toronto, Montreal, NY Islanders, Penguinos etc., and all of them saying: "Don't care" and yet all reading this article about team they don't care about. I could see losers from Pitt checking out everything about Flyers - they just to scared to play against them in playoffs, NYI - they just jealous, the rest of the gang - they don't have owners who cares.
