How do you know?.....how many cup finals have the flyers been to since their 2 wins? If you are in 5-7 finals since and maybe a few others if not for injuries.....

The flyers are by my guess in the top 5 in cup appearances since 1980.....

and if you get there you have a chance........so u know nothing but are a hater of sniders ways....be a fan not a hater.....they will be contenders in 3-5years...the window will be open!!!!

There was little doubt in my mind that these players and Craig Ramsey’s system had run their course.

Blah, Blah, Blah, same thing over and over! What is the one constant here? The players! Flyers are famous for rewarding the players with big fat long-term contracts for doing or winning absolutely nothing. Why should they care when everyone but B. Schenn is locked up long term for big money? And oh by the way who has been their best forward so far? Why that would be B. Schenn as he knows a career season will gain him entry into the fat cat club. The Flyers lead the league in “cap space wasted on potential” by far.

Two years from now, maybe sooner, Ek will be saying:

For a club that won two cups based on the stellar play of one of the greatest goalies in NHL history, you'd think they'd draft and cultivate a star at that position...nope. Eddie needs something fast!
